I, FREDDY by Dietlof Reiche

Freddy looks like a normal golden hamster. But he’s not. Freddy learns to read and write. His first owner, Sophie, was learning to read and write, so Freddy decided to learn too. But Sophie’s mom, hamster hater and royal hamster pain, makes Sophie give Freddy away to Mr. John their neighbor. Will Freddy be able to get along with a wise tomcat and two silly guinea pigs? Will he be able to keep his secret? My top 3 favorite parts are in the beginning when Freddy does flips, jumps, and cartwheels to get adopted, when Freddy meets the two hilarious guinea pigs Enrico and Caruso, and the intelligent tomcat Sir William, and when Freddy follows his dream to write his autobiography…I, Freddy. I think both boys and girls ages 8-11 will enjoy this book. RATING: ************************************************************************************** Meowww007
