The BFG by Roald Dahl
The BFG is about a Big Friendly Giant. He snatches a little girl named Sofie and brings her to a whole new world of giants.
My favorite part is when the BFG eats a giant cucumber.
I think girls ages 8-11 will enjoy this book.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
This book is a fantasy about a boy who was a wizard at 15 years old.
My favorite part was the round spinning room with a ton of doors inside the Department of Ministries.
I think both boys and girls ages 9+ will enjoy this book.

Babe and Me by Dan Gutman
This book is about a boy who time travels to the date of the baseball cards. Then he meets Babe Ruth! He goes to the 1932 world series game 3 and sees Ruth point with 2 fingers to right center field. He called his shot!
My favorite part was when the home run bounced off of an old lady's head and Joe's dad dove and caught the famous home run.
I think boys who are 8+ will enjoy this book.

Secrets of Droon by Tony Abbott
It’s about three kids that find a secret world with monsters and wizards.
My favorite part was when one of the three kids jumps off a building on fire to a hot air balloon but he missed.
I think kids ages 9-99 will enjoy this book.

Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism by Georgia Byng
A girl named Molly Moon hypnotized the adoption center owner Ms. Adderson to snip up her suits and like her because she hated Molly more than any thing. She also hypnotizes Edna, the cook. Edna cooks Molly the best spaghetti and the bully the spiciest food. After hypnotizing many people Molly becomes a braodway star.
My favorite part was when Molly hypnotizes Mrs. Anderson to snip her suits adn wear her teeth on a necklace, and to put her underwear on her head!
I think both boys and girls of any age will enjoy this book.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
This book is about a querky kid who is oddly famous in The Wizard World about living from a deadly Wizard attack from The Dark Lord Voledomort. Harry Potter Who lives with his horrible Aunt, Uncle and fat cousin. While they are on vacation when Harry gets a letter from a giant. Then he goes with the giant (Hagrid) to get his school supplies. Then He gets to Hogwarts meeting some new friends (Ron and Hermonie) There They meet an evil little devil Draco Malfoy. Then he becomes the youngest seeker in a decade. For Christmas he gets an invisibility cloak. He uses it go and see his family in the mirror of Erised. In the end he has to get past a three headed dog get on a flying broom and play a giant chess game. The he sees one of his teachers who is possessed by Lord Voldemort. Then it ends.
My Favorite part of the book is when Harry, Ron and Hermione go through the trapdoor, but he has to get past a giant three headed dog! After that they get stuck in magical root type things called Devils Snare. After they get past Devils Snare, Harry rides a magic broom to get a flying key and open the door. Then they have to play a giant game of Knight's Chess where Ron sacrifices himself. Harry and Hermione to go through the door after they win the chess game. After that a dead troll is in a room where Harry and Hermione pass through that room there is a table in a dungeon-like room where Hermione and Harry drink potions so Hermione can go back to help Ron. Harry goes to see who is behind the madness at Hogwarts.
I think anyone will enjoy this book

Fairy Realm: The Last Fairy Apple Tree by Emily Rodda
Jessie goes into her grandmothers friends garden and Jessie found a gnome and needs to bring the gnome named Bilbert back to Brill. Jessie and Bilbert needed to go to the realm and find her friends Giff and Mabelle to help them get to Brill. They need help going throw the priklely long maze so they get a furrybear to help them then they got to Brill witch was the goal. But there was no fairy apple trees so Jessie told Billbert to wipe his beard and fairy apple seeds fell out.
I think girls who are 5-13 years old will enjoy this book

Matt hates his tiny new bedroom. It’s so small it’s practically a closet. Matt’s mother told him not to sleep in the guest room. So late one night, he did exactly what his mother told him not to do. That’s when Matt’s nightmares come to life! RISE AND SHINE. FOREVER!
My favorite part of the book is all of the different families he suffers from.
I think children who are 8 years old will enjoy this book because it could give nightmares to seven year olds.
I think both boys and girls will read this book because there is a girl who helps Matt along the way

This book is about a girl named Emily Windsnap, She finds out she’s a mermaid in her first swim class in sixth grade. She sneaks out at night to see her mermaid friend named Shona.
My favorite part of the book was when she saw her dad for the first time in prison then she got away fast to go see Shona and her mom.
I think girls who are 9-11 years old will enjoy this book

This book is about these people who travel through time and space to save territories from collapsing into chaos by an evil guy called Saint Dane. The main character is Bobby.
My favorite part was when Bobby finally realizes that cats are more advanced than humans.

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
It is about Percy, Annabeth and Grover who go on a quest to the underworld to find the Master Bolt that Ares stole from Zeus. They set a building on fire and a monster that looked like a dog chased Percy into the water. Then at the end they returned the Master Bolt to Zeus.
My favorite part was when Percy found the Master Bolt.
I think children who are 8-12 years old will enjoy this book

Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets by Dave Pilkey
This book is about George and Harold copying their comic book on a “real life” copier and lots of bad things start happening, like they eat the gym teacher!
My favorite part was when there was flip-o-rama and the talking toilets ate there gym teacher then they barfed him up.
I think children who are years 7-18 old will enjoy this book

This book is about a girl who sets up a place for Walton (a stray cat that the girl is taking care of) to give birth. But Walton finds a different spot. It turned out to be the janitor’s kitchen on his best shirts. But the janitor doesn’t like cats. The girl has a week to save the kittens or else… DEATH. Will she save them or not? Keep reading to find out!
My favorite part is of the book is when the kittens grow stronger and their eyes open.
I think girls 7 and up will enjoy this book.
