The
weirdest part is when Augustus Pelletier jumped in the middle of a hurricane to
save a baby. He was on the edge of a cliff and almost fell off.
I
would recommend this book for boys/girls ages 11-17.

THE JOURNAL OF AUGUSTUS PELLETIER by Kathryn Lasky
This book is about a man named Augustus Pelletier who
explores America with a gang called the corps of discovery. He goes on
adventures and gets bitten by snakes climbs mountains and much more! In the
beginning it is boring but gets more interesting later.
