This book is about a young man living on the legendary isle of Fincanyara. One day he summons his mother on to Fincanyara from Wy Cadder, currently known as Wales. When the death shadow sent for him hits his mother, he has no option but to go and get the elixir of Dagda. However, first he must master the souls of all seven songs of wizardry to be able to slay the legendary ogre guarding the Otherworld Well, the only way to get to the otherworld except for dieing. Will he get the elixir and save his mother, or will he die in his noble task? Read on to find out. My favorite part was when they found out Rhiahonn was Merlin’s sister.
