BUDDY THE LIBRARY MONSTER by Hillestand Dorl Butler

A girl  and a boy were in a library and a dog named buddy .when they read a book to buddy he has to listen to the book but buddy does not like to sit there and listen he wants to just run around .because there is a library monster that keeps taking and messing up the books and putting them in the in the wrong places.

CALENDAR CLUB: THE CASE OF THE THANKSGIVING THIEF By Nancy Star

Casey,Dottie,and Leon are friends. They met a woman who takes care of pets. The woman's name is Mrs.Wagner . Mrs.Wagner was stealing jewelery without Casey; Dottie,and Leon knowing.Will they catch her?

My most favorite part was when Casey, Dottie, and Leon decorated Miss calender's window.


I would recommend this book.I think both boys and girls who are 8-10 years old will enjoy this book.

TRAPPED Peg Kerhet

This book is about a pig that drops out of a truck and a cat that dose not want to be on  TV but the camera man chases him any way.
 My favorite part was when they looking for a trap.
I would recommend this book for kids both boys and girls 9-16 years old , especially cat lovers

This book is abaout how Jack and annie tavel to the artic in the magic tree house to salve the ridle to become master librains.
my favrit part was when poller bear cubs wer sliding on ice.

A BAD CASE OF STRIPES by David Shannon

This book is about teaching the reader to always be themselves. In the book the main character Camilla, changes into what ever people want her to become what ever they want her to become.This makes her feel very sad and left out.In the end she learns to be herself.
For me the saddest part of the book is when other people treat her differently because they do not understand her.
I would recommend this book to any kid who thinks they should become other people.I think both boys and girls who are 5-19 to read this book.

SNOOPY: FLYING ACE by Charles M. Schulz

The book snoopy: flying ace is about how snoopy wants a job and chooses to be a world war 1 pilot. He sits on top of  his dog house and pretends to be flying a plane! Snoopy says weird things like,"I must bring
the red baron down!" and "go Sopwith camel go!" That is a brief summary of the book.

My favorite funniest part was when snoopy chose to be a world war 1 pilot! I mean, it is kind of
funny that a dog would want to be a world war 1 pilot back in the 1900's!

I think that this book would be great for 7-8 year- old's

The Peddlers Gift by Maxine Rose Schur

When young  Leibush runs home to find that his friend Shnook  is there he sees that he that Shnook has left a dreidle under the table.Although Leibush did not return it. Find out what happens next when you read "The Peddler's Gift".

My favorite part of the book was when  Leibush found Shnook in the synagogue and thought he was someone else.


  I would recommend this book to both boys and girls ages 7 and 8

SUMMARY
                          The boy with the dog saw a snowflake and thought it was snowing. then the grandfather sad it's jest one snowflake the boy saw another snowflake and thought it was snowing. Then a woman with an umbrella sad it's jest going to melt.

FAVORITE PART
                                  My favorite part was when the boy saw a snowflake and thought it was snowing but everyone sad it was not going to snow it's jest a 2 snowflakes.

   I would recommend this book to ages 6-8

A girl is born to the Dolci family who can't keep her so they leave her in the infant drawer to the Ospedalo. She was born as Nina but is now Catarina. She makes the choir school and often gets visited by her family. She finds out that her brother is sick and sneaks out of the Ospedalo.

My favorite part was when Catarina snuck out of the Ospedalo.
I think girls between 6-10 years old will like this book

The book was about a mouse who wanted to see mister Santa Claus so he jumped into a sack... The sack is cozy as a cozy, warm bed but to crowded. What will happen next?

My favorite part was when the mouse said sorry for jumping into the sack.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls who are 2 to 10 years old.

The Hardy Boys The Secret Warning by Franklin W. Dixon

Frank and Joe are trying to find out who has the real gold pharaohs head. There is a mysterious person who's trying to stop them along the way. The mysterious person was trying to steal something from the Hardy Boys house. There is a place called whalebone island and the owner of the pharaohs head was on a boat near whalebone island and the boat sunk.  The person who owned the pharaohs head had it on the boat when the boat sunk.

My favorite part was when the hosts dog ate everything at the BBQ party and the BBQ party became chaotic.

I would recommend this book to boys ages 8-12

This book is about a mouse named Baby mouse! She is excited about camp,but when she gets there it's not what she expects. Baby mouse is being picked on.Will she be a successful camper or will she end up with a terrible chore! Find out!!

The funniest part was when Baby mouse was trying to start a fire and when she finally does she drops the sticks and burns down the whole north part of the forest!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   I would recommend this book.                                                                                                                      I think girls should read this book who are ages 6-8                                                                                     RATING  ****

The OP is not a friendly place!  Clover,Sam, and Alex all face crime together.  Like getting trapped in future together they never give up!  I think my favorite part was when the girls meet the older version of them.  Because they don't look so much different!

Junie b.first grader turkeys we have loved and eten and other thankful stuff

In this story Junie B. and May fight over who is better, Chuck or Philip. The whole school is having a thankful contest of which class has the best thankful list.but the contest isn't the contest you may expect.

my favorite part is when they are eating the pumpkin pie.

I recommend this book to boys and girls ages 5 to 12.

In the story a scientist try's to rob a bank but he gets turned into water and then the
cat pees on him and now he is pee.then he steals all the toilets. then every one has to go to the bathroom.

The best part I think was when the pee drops started snatching the potty's.

SEVEN SCARY MONSTERS by Mary Beth Lundgren

There was a boy and monsters in the boy's bedroom. He was trying to get rid of them because they were noisy and he couldn't sleep.

I liked it when the boy said "Rick Rack wrinkle shack, don't you dare come back". The book rhymed and that made it more dun to listen to.

I would recommend this book to both girls and boys who are 4 years old.

My favorite part was the battle in Carvahall. I like that battle because during it Roran (Eragon's cousin) kills a bunch of Galbatorix's evil soldiers.

Amy and Dan saw Jackie Chan and Amy said carry on luggage is always x-rayed. they have extra special rules about swords in backpacks.
   
My favorite part was when Jackie said we need them to cut the parmignna and Dan said if Italian would understand food.

TRACKERS BOOK 1 by Patrick Carman

This book is about a boy  named Adam a character in the book Trackers Book 1. He likes all stuff            related  to computers. He gets older in the book and he tells what technology things like a new
phone or a new iPod.  One of his hobbies was to help people and also to fix computers. In the
middle of the story Adam meets a boy named Fin and a few days later Fin introduces  Adam
to his two  friends Emily and Lewis. The problem is that Adam, doesn't wan Fin, Emily,and Lewis
to know he is a hacker.


My favorite part is when Adam meets Fin.


I would recommend this book.


I think both boys and girls  will like this book.

The strangest part was when the ghost disappeared into the wall and made a sound.

It's mummy Monday  and Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose showed up. Dr. Tweed was telling them about the mummies until a lady sprinted in grabbed a mummy  tomb with the mummy inside. Inside the tomb stored valuable gold along with the mummy. It is not the kids job to solve the mystery of who did all if this ... but that doesn't stop them.

My favorite part is when the most unexpected man is questioned about stealing the mummy.

SHIPWRECK by Gordon Kormon

        6 kids on a schooner trip for kids with bad behavior. The schooner sinks and only 4 kids are together on a raft. they find a desert island. What will happen next?
My favorite part was when the 4 kids are on the raft and they get so thirsty they start hallucinating.
I would recommend this book to both girls and boys who are 12 through infinite years old.

Louise soccer is about  Loiuse and she doesn't like the new girl coming along. Louise thinks that the new girl is trying to take things that she usually has like a 7# piney.
My favorite part of the story is when louise and the new girl love the same video game. It was the funniest coincidence.

 This book is about an oddball named Dwight who made an origami version of yoda who can predict the future !and it also includes Tommy, Mike, Ben, Murky, Remi, Quovondo, Amy,Lance,Cassie,Sara,Kellen,and the evil Harvey. Tommy makes  something called case files about stuff that (origami) Yoda,Darth vader,& chubaca does.
My favorite part of the series is the Dwight file & that is on page **.
I would recommend this book to boys who are 8-13.

Ruby and the booker boys the slumber party payback by Derrick Barns


     My favorite part was when Ro Rubys brother kept pranking the girls and then they got him back. Also the funniest part was when Ruby and the girls snuck into his room and put make up on his face.

     This is one of my favorite books it has a lot of prank's witch I thought was really funny so if you like humorous books or prank books then I would recommend ruby and the booker boys the slumber party payback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Pizzas For A Blue Count by Geronimo Stilton

 Trap Geronimos cousin ( a rat) called Geronimo and said he was in Transratinia! So Geronimo called his sister Thea and she brought Geronimos  favorite nephew Benjamin to come!
My favorite part was near the end of the story Trap found out that a girl he liked ,Snobella (a girl from Transratiania) is part bat. So he doesn't like Snobella anymore!
I would recommend this book to both boys and girls who are ages 9-12 years old.

 Joan and Sara Smith are on a trip on the mayflower but have a hard time doing it, rainstorms, hurricanes, and other disasters. then they have to deal with Indianan tribes. finally, they make friends with the Indians and have the first thanks giving.

Joan and Sara got caught spying on their parents.

I would not recommend  this book because it has no action and I did not enjoy it.

Anastasia  is a 11 year old girl and is a princess, who has one brother two sisters. Anastasia is very lazy and hates her Spanish teacher. About her self her mother makes  all of them keep diaries for special reasons, and only Anastasia got a keep safe box.

For me the best part was when she looked in the diaries.

girls would love this book. Girls 10 to 20 or up.

This book takes place in the 1700's.
It is about this boy that wants to join the kings army but he has to learn the drills.But he turns out he is a drummer boy.

The weird thing is they wake up at 2:00 am. He also sailed to  Chelmsford at 2:00am that's early.

I would recommend this book because it has descriptive.    

I think that boys from ages 5 to 9 will enjoy this book.

THE JOURNAL OF SCOTT PENDLETON COLLINS by Walter Dean Myers

First, the soldiers went in a boat and when they reached shore they saw  another boat on fire. Also one day they were battling in the woods and Scott and his friend threw a bomb. Next, Scott and his friend went out to find a house to stay in. When they found a house they went in and saw if anybody was in it. Scott also went upstairs and looked in the bedroom and there was nobody. So Scott blew the roof up with a bomb.                                                                                                                                                                         My scariest part was, when Scott saw a boat on fire.My other  scariest part was when they were battling. My favorite part of the book was when Scott blew up the houses roof with a bomb. And when charlie made an awesome plan.


I would recommend this book to only boys who are 8-10 years old will enjoy this book.

I liked the part when Barry and his family are at New York City. I was very happy! It made me feel protected.

I would recomend this book for girls who are 8-11 years old.



My favorite part was when Zenda finds out the berries will make the creature from her dreams come true.

The funniest part of the book was when Malao that represents the monkey stuck his foot in Fu's face. I liked it because they were crammed in a barrel.They barely could move

TWO MINUTE DRILL by Mike Lupica

This book is about two kids named Scott and Chris. Chris has dyslexia and is tutored by Scott. A big reading test is about to happen and Chris wants to quit already because of his dyslexia. Also, tryouts for the town's team are about to happen and both of them  want to get onto it.
  My favorite part was when Chris passed the reading test and he gave Scott a thumbs-up from across the room.

GILDA JOYCE by Jennifer Allison

One summer day Gilda Joyce was in the big city and she was heading up to her apartment.Gilda was spending the summer in a spy convention group.Gilda visited so many places like the science museum.Then after a few weeks Gilda got so bored the only place she visited was the spy convention.After awhile every time Gilda went to the spy museum Gilda started seeing a women who had a blood stained star.Gilda was so curios.Gilda ran home to think about this.After awhile it became dark.Gilda went to bed and then Gilda had this wacky dream about Abraham Lincoln and Gilda wanted to know what that meant.At five a'clock Gilda called her friend Wendy and Wendy answered the phone grumpily.Gilda started yelling about what happened.Wendy froze for a second and then said it was probably something  weird. Gilda pondered on this wacky image but she couldn't figure it out!Do you think you know what's happening and is it fake or real?

MICK HARTE WAS HERE Barbara Park

Everything thing was perfectly fine until one day..................The book I'm reading was about a girl named Phoebe, and her brother got in a bike accident. He had a severe head injury and died. Phoebe is trying to hide the coincident that she is effected .When really, she is having a hard time getting through the tragedy. She doesn't know why it happened to her. Everybody tries to comfort her but she doesn't like it at all. She just doesn't understand.

The funniest part was when Phoebe was telling memories about her brother, also when Phoebe had a dream about her brother and her dog, Wocket.

I would recommend this book.

I think both boys and girls who are 8-13 years old will enjoy this book.

   My favorite part was when they had a cascornes war. A cascorane is a Spanish egg filled with confetti and painted. They made them. They got mad and started throwing them. Sounds like fun!

 I recommend this book to girls 9-13 years old.

The book was about Aiden's sister was kidnapped! FBI and agents goes in to the blizzard finding lost Meg. Meg also escaped but in the blizzard! Kidnappers with a ransom note, Meg lost in blizzard,FBI and agents searching,everybody every where!

My favorite part was when everybody in a tunnel(a dark tunnel)and a kidnapper with a gun shooting!

I think that boys and girls who are 8-10 will enjoy this book.

Jack and Annie travel to ancient Greece  for a Greek book for the tree house. Annie almost got taken by Greek gods. Jack saved her.
 My favorite part  was when they met Pegasus , because I like horses.

This book is about a mouse who is really busy, he was  sent on a trip and the plane was crazy and when he got there he met a professor and went into a cheese pyramid and the professor  tripped  on a snake and when Geronimo  went  home his office was still busy.

My favorite and scariest part was when he went into the the pyramid and tripped and saw a snake.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls who are between 7-10 years old

This book was about a young boy named Leibush who ran home from playing to find that his friend Shnook is there. When Shnook is about to leave Leibush finds that the peddler had left a dradle under the table. But Leibush did not return it. Find out what happens next when you read The Peddler's Gift.

My favorite part of the book was when Leibush found Shnook in the synagouge and thought he was someone else.

 I would recommend this book to both boys and girls ages 7 and 8

  Dear Fish is about when a little boy named Peter Alan rights a letter to the fish saying" Dear Fish,where you live is pretty cool.You should come visit us some day.Plus mom makes good pies.Sincerely Peter Alan" and then he finds the fish.
  The funniest part for me was when Peter Alan's mom goes to the hair dresses and finds a octopus on her head with scissors, a comb, and a hot curler. that made me laugh.

BEN AND ME by Robert Lawson

This is book about a mouse and Ben Franklin.They are really good friends. They love to make extraordinary inventions together.One of their favorite inventions they enjoy making together is the lightning rod. "It collects lightning and makes electricity" says Ben franklin.The mouse and Ben make extraordinary inventions and sometimes make mistakes. But thats okay everybody makes mistakes and learn from their mistakes.

A very funny part in the story is when Ben took a swim in the pond he came out with seaweed on his head and took a run after and got all covered in thorns.That really forced a giggle out of me.

I would not recommend this book because it is not the kind I see kids reading. If you want to read this book  I would recommend this book to ages 8 through 10 years old.

From a rating of 1 to 5 stars I would give it a **.

She started by creating a club called Kids Fight For Freedom to help soldiers in need. Then one day her family received a telegram that turned Maddie's world upside down.

My favorite part took place on June 23rd,1942. I liked it because it was exciting and scary at the same time.What happened was Maddie and her friend Johnny were patrolling the beach for Nazi soldiers when they found a big pile of seaweed. They started to dig it up. Underneath was a box filled with tubes and white powder. Near by was a pack of German cigarettes, 2 coats, a pair of overalls and 3 caps with Nazi swastikas on them.

I would recommend this book for boys and girls ages 8-11

My second favorite part of the story is when the mouse said "here" i Said to myself "is home".
My last favorite part is when the mouse said "when i woke up the room was sizzling warm"!

I think both girls and boys 8-10 years old will enjoy this book.

I SURVIVED THE BOMBING OF PEARL HARBOR, 1941 by Lauren Tarshis

It started when Danny was play with his friend at Pearl Harbor then some Japanese airplanes came bombing the boats. When he saw the boat sink the airplane came down shooting at Danny and Danny was running to get help. Then his mom's friend came to get him out. When Danny got to his mom's friends car Danny saw blood on the car door and on his arm. he explained how he got the bloody arm. When they got in the car they drove to the base when they got there the base was bombed to! only 3 people where alive but really hurt.

The most scariest part of the book was when the Japanese airplanes bombed all the boats from pearl harbor and came swooping down and started shooting at Danny.

I think both, boys, and girls who are 7-10 years old will enjoy this book.

I would give this book a rating of 5 stars for the max.

She still helps out with watching younger children and helping elderly friends. When she gets to America, she is taken to work in a stuffy mill. It feels as  if good times will never come. Can she get through the bad times and move on to the better?

  My favorite part was when the ship arrived at the port. It was full of rejoicing, and the author described how people were kissing the ground at the harbor.

 I  would recommend this book to girls ages 8-12.

When Charlotte's best friend Hayward gets adopted her heart drops and all seems to be lost. When she decides to run away her other friend Vern, warns her that the last attempt to flee the orphanage did not succeed. It was rare to get away . Will Charlotte ever get away?
 
My favorite part of the story is when  Charlotte teaches Mr. Millshark a lesson when he had to take off his boots to help get the coach out of the mud.

I would not recommend this book because it was foolish to run away from the orphanage.

Christmas After All is about the great depression diary of Minnie Swift who lives in Indianapolis in Indiana during 1932 and her family gets a kid from Texas to take care of and her name is Willie Faye and she is poor and comes with barley anything Willie Faye has a suitcase made of cardboard, pictures, and 3 pairs of clothes.She is all dirty and doesn't know what anything is like a bathtub or toilet because she had to use an outhouse and those things. Will Willie Faye ever even go to school and learn what it is like to live here?

My favorite part was when I learned about Willie Faye and how she won a pumpkin contest because it seemed like she had nothing. It made me happy that she had the biggest pumpkin and a little house in it because it was so big.

I would recommend this book for girls from ages from 9-97 years old.

In the book i survived the Japanese tsunami is a very surprising book with lot's of action! Like when Ben got swept up on a gigantic wave called a tsunami and lost his mom,uncle,and brother. Will Ben ever find his family?

My favorite part was when there was a huge earth quake when he was in japan and got stuck in his uncles house.
I would recommend this book for anyone.

This book is about a kid named Donavan Curtis that is a troublemaker. He is in detention, and the person giving him it leaves to watch a basketball game.Suddenly, he looks out of the window and sees his friends who were even worse troublemakers making faces at him. They help him out of the window and escape. On the way out, Donavan randomly walks to a statue of Atlas a greek god that supposedly holds up the world. Donavan picks up a fallen tree branch and smashes the branch on the statue. Suddenly, he realizes that the bronze statue and the bronze "world" are two pieces and are poorly bolted together. The globe falls off the statue and rolls toward a parking lot, destroying no cars but rolling toward the school, where the basketball game is. It rolls through the glass doors instantly destroying them and causes a lot of property damage. No one was injured, but Donavan was caught. He was put in even worse detention, and the superintendent giving him detention made Donavan write his name.After Donavan was set free for the day to take the consequences another day, and a lady came into the office asking where the gifted program list was. The superintendent says it is on the desk, where he left the paper with Donavan's name on it. And Donavan is put into the Gifted program.




My favorite part was when Donavan realizes he would be in huge trouble while the globe rolls toward the building.

I would recommend this book for boys and girls, who are 10 to 12 years old.
