DOLLEY MADISON SAVES GEORGE WASHINGTON by Don Brown

This book is about Dolley Madison, and how she acted during the American Revolution. She rescues a huge portrait of George Washington. It is also a little bit about her life. My favorite part of the book was at the end, when it states that people all over the world get to see the portrait at the White House because of Dolley Madison. I think children who are 8-12 years old will enjoy this book. I think both boys and girls will like this book. I rate this book *** and 1/2 stars. Blooper
