This book is about a girl named Hattie who has dreamed of being a beautiful girl but when her father doesn't like it that way she changes into a boy. She goes on many, many adventures and becomes friends with another boy Jasper.
My favorite part was when she starts work with the boys and she thinks the men will do there "business" in front of her. GROSS!
I think girls age 11 will like this book and people who like history.
