This book is about a young girl forced to become a lady during the Civil War. When her Papa went to war, she became the woman of the house and faced many problems. My favorite part of the book was when she tried to run in a corset and she lost her supper and her friend fainted. I think girls who are age 11+ will enjoy this book. RATING: *** NN
