Standing in the Light by Mary Osborne

This book is about a girl named Cathrine Cary Logan, who is a Quaker. She got captured by the Indians. As weeks go by she finds herself to get attached to the Indians. In the end she comes back home. The saddest part of this book is when an Indian girl gets beaten by a soldier. I think 10 year old boys and girls will enjoy this book. RATING: **** pinkaluva
