Ella was challenged by some serious medical problems

Throughout her great career,

Ella’s personality could be described as persevering,

Because even though she was black she kept at it,

Ella was always very bright,

Even if something horrifying happened,

Ella never wanted to stop what she was doing,

Ella was best known for her beautiful scat music,

Ella was the most persevering person I have ever learned about!
