Ella was born in Newport News Virginia 1917 April 25.
Ella was a child of temple Fitzgerald and William
Fitzgerald. They got separated short after Ella's birth.
Ella lived in Newport News Virginia, Yonkers
New York, The streets, and La California.
Ella studied music her style was jazz and bebop. Norman Granz
became her manager and she worked with Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington.
Ella overcame living in the streets reform school and her
music
Ella worked as a musician and a dancer she liked to scat.

Ella's
personality could be described caring because established Ella Fitzgerald child
care center. Hard working because she worked hard and that paid off. She has 13
Grammy awards a life time achievement award she recorded over 2,000 songs and
200 albums and a medal of arts presented by President Ronald Reagan.
Ella always faced challenges her mother died when she was
15. Ella parents where separated short after Ella's birth. Chick Webb
discovered Ella's singing but sadly Webb died in 1939. In 1993 both legs were
amputated.
Ella never backed down she knew she had to stay strong and
keep going when her mother died.
Ella was best known for scatting, bebop and jazz. Her first
musical hit with chick Webb was A-Tisket A-Tasket
Ella was a amazing singer she had so much successes in her
life like achievement 13 Grammy awards and recorded over 200 albums but sadly she
died in 1996 from diabetes at the age of 79.
